Le Chemin des Femmes

Born as a chorus of women from different cultural and geographical backgrounds, the Chemin des Femems have built their own autonomous and enthralling musical experience of improvisation, polyrhythms, circle songs and vocal polyphony. Live and sharing with the audience is the pivotal moment of the project. Among the original productions, staged the play 
AKUS – a musical work for women warriors.
, while in 2015 the album Le Chemin des Femmes – There is something in the voice that endures is recorded.

The choir has featured over 50 female choristers from at least 15 countries: Ivory Coast, Ghana, Cameroon, Morocco, Moldova, Ukraine, Argentina, USA, Spain (Basque Country), UK, Croatia, Italy. The choir unites professional and non-professional women, women of different generations, age groups, social backgrounds, religions and cultures.
