BOTTEGA BALENO 2023 — gesti per guardare lontano

Bottega Baleno is an artistic journey, an experience of dialogue between childhood, the city, performing arts and visual arts.

Bottega Baleno opens in 2023 with gestures to look far, extensively dedicated to girls and children, with:
◉ an ongoing course aimed at the 8-10 year old age group
◉ and an appointment dedicated to the 6-8 year olds.

During this year’s trails we will investigate the secret world of yards and gardens near and far, wondering how green can transform the gray and how herbs, plants, flowers and trees are as much a living thing as we are.

Why do we do this? with Bottega Baleno, we want to study and explore our bodies and their relationship with what is around us, because this community, slowly, is uniting many “I’s” into a “we.” We want to collect wishes and give voice to girls’ and boys’ utopias about the city and the world in which they live.

Who, where, how?

Bottega Baleno is a fantastic collaboration between Collettivo Amigdala of Modena and MUVet of Bologna: Federica Rocchi, Daina Pignatti and Anita Barbi will accompany children on all their adventures. Amigdala Collective and MUVet have been dealing with small and large bodies, cities, explorations, sounds, dances, performances for years: there will be a lot of fun to be had.

WHERE. See you at OvestLab in Modena, a space redefined by people’s desires, a cultural center where you can meet artisans, artists, studios, neighborhood residents and the dog Max.

IS IT ALL? Of course not! We have many surprises in store, but we will reveal things a little at a time….
