an artistic journey dedicated to girls and boys aged 6 to 11, an experience of dialogue between childhood, the city, ecology, dance, theater and art.
We will become a small community explorer and play with bodies and colors, with working tools and with stories; we will investigate the neighborhood and even have pen pals from the Chalk House!
because we want to study and explore our bodies and their relationship to what is around us, because we would like this community to slowly unite so many “I’s” into a “we,” but also because we would like to collect and give voice to the desires and utopias of girls and boys about the city and the world they inhabit.
is an ongoing course, one weekend a month from February to May and an intensive week in June, after which we will share our experience with the city.
What form will this sharing take?
We will decide it together!
Bottega Baleno is a fantastic collaboration between Collettivo Amigdala of Modena and MUVet of Bologna: Federica Rocchi and Daina Pignatti will accompany children on all their adventures. Amigdala Collective and MUVet have been dealing with small and large bodies, cities, explorations, sounds, dances, performances for years – there will be a lot of fun to be had!
see you at OvestLab in Modena, a space redefined by people’s desires, a cultural center where you can meet artisans, artists, studios, neighborhood residents and the dog Max.
of course not! We have many surprises in store: shows to see, people to meet, outings to go on by bringing parents along.
We will reveal things a little at a time….
